SELF PORTRAITS AT NIGHT - PHONE PICTURES PART III

That was a long night / Middletown, ct / August 2014

I often take self portraits of myself and I usually don't post them up online. Most of them are taken using a film camera and taken in different ways. I think self portraits are fun to take, but I think that most self portraiture is very self absorbed and filled with a lie. I try to be as honest as I can taking them. I remembered taking this shot. I was driving my wife's car and while at a stop light this light was emitting on the side of me. Phones do an alright job taking pictures at night so I decided to take a picture of myself. Of course I did a bit of post on the phone later when I got home, but it turned out pretty good. Maybe this is something I should consider again.
