Design #2: Shapes

Wednesday, December 16, 2009

This was a final project for my Art Design class. The theme was to make five alphabet designs using original ideas. Mine was based on shapes. I felt it was the only original thing I could think of. With my limited drawing abilities, keeping the designs simple was the only way to go. Each shape expresses a feeling or a movement, the focal point of what I wanted to portray. I may continue with this series of designs when I have the time to do it. For now, photography is a higher priority than drawing. Enjoy.

Patrick Contreras @ The Revue Fresno, Ca

On December 12th, Patrick Contreras and friends performed at the Revue Coffee Shop down in the Tower District. A lovely performance as Patrick and his group played Christmas Songs the whole night. The audience couldn't help, but bring standing ovations for this man. The night was definitely enjoyable.
