WOW ADOBE. YOU REALLY KNOW HOW TO KILL A BUZZ

Just a few weeks ago I opened up Photoshop and was about to edit pictures when suddenly it says "serial number expired". At first glance my heart sank knowing that this is going to be a big problem. I attempt to call up Adobe to see if I can reinstate the license on my serial number. With at least five redirects and no answer I gave up. I called Academy of Art right after to see if there is a way I can get this resolved and apparently Adobe had sent the entire staff a notification that they were dropping the license. I went on Facebook to post up the situation and seems as though a lot of students and alumni got hit. They're servicing the Creative Cloud now and everything else is out of date.
I find myself figuring out why most of the students/alumni (including myself) had been booted off the program. I'm sure the serial number was bought using our tuition and I'm also sure that it didn't cost as much as our tuition. So, I decided to grab an older copy. I had an "CS4" laying around and I decided to load it up. And honestly... I use it the same way as I would CS6. This is just crazy. I don't even know why I bothered upgrading.
I'm sticking to this program until my computer can't function anymore. It's going to be awhile for that to happen. You should look at Ed Templeton's computer on some of his interviews. You should see the program he's using! I think it's CS2! And he makes great stuff out of it. Fuck you Adobe. You can go and suck a big fuck.
