Weekly Sunday Photo Challenge: Perfect

Sunday, April 22, 2012

This week's challenge theme was "Perfect." Lately I've been longing for more of a conceptual and meaningful perspective in my photography. This thought of perfection has altered my perspectives in life all these years that I didn't know how to be this "perfect" person. Well... I think I found it.... and it started 3 years ago.

The Only Time I See You Is When You're on the Screen

I Only See You When You're On The Screen

It's been a tough few months being away from this person. Because of her I've been able to devote myself to my craft and become more confident at what I do. I didn't think photography would take me to these places in life: New friends, new experiences, new ways of thinking, new ways of living. I didn't think I would be able to say "I love photography and I want to make it my career." I love you sweetie. Thank you for everything you've done for me.

Michael Behlen

I was always a fan of Mike's macro work, his attention to detail, his talent in the processing. Perfection has it in nature and not many people consider it. The way the colors glow, the way the plants grow, the way they stay still... it's beautiful and it was only in his backyard.
