villeBURG: Unordinary Photo Arrangements by William Mebane

Thursday, May 2, 2013

If you've been following me for quite awhile you know that I've been doing a number of diptychs as of late. They sort of represent an idea of how things could suddenly go together without any thought of it going together in the first place. Just recently Feature Shoot had posted about William Mebane and a new blog he just opened up. It's sort of a rough draft space to see if there are any ideas he could cultivate for future projects. Without any intent of combining images together his theory was to make images everyday with or without a motive.

If you notice that much of his work has an underlying relationship with each other whether if it's in one frame or two. This is something that most photographers don't really see. This blog has definitely given me a fresh look towards a project I've been working on for awhile.

Check him out. It's definitely worth it.
