Street Walkin'

I've been so hesitant lately on my street photography. I am trying to create a body of work that will be released by the end of this year. I take a lot of pictures, upload them and then forget about them until a couple of weeks later for editing. It's an exercise that I've been working on for awhile and to keep my game up visually.















Also, I've been testing new waters in the post-processing world. I found some photoshop actions that give me this unique look to my photographs. I'm trying to make the blog look like a magazine with a touch of fashion and vintage appeal. I think I'm liking the new process. Hope you do too!

Snapshots (Daly City)

A new idea I've been anticipating for awhile. It's hard to carry around a dslr in places that seem to be easily noticed. I started using this point-and-shoot camera at work and around the Westfield Mall. It's so easy to capture people in the moment they are most vulnerable. I bring to you the new series "snapshots."

Some of my associates don't think it's cool, but whatever. I'm definitely going to stick towards this. This will help me mix things up and allow me to look at pictures a different way.

The rest of the images are just moments of me walking through the Westfield Mall for lunch and then some.

The influence came about browsing my friends tumblr's and Facebook posts. They take great pictures using just their phones. It's just mindless fun and I'm loving the results so far. Enjoy!

In the Break Room at Work

I often try to find ways to photograph something different. Lately, I've been working at Burlington Coat Factory and been trying to scope out some spots to shoot. In the break room this light seems to illuminate through the window onto the lockers about around five o'clock. One of my associates happened to be there and so I just propped him onto the lockers. A little bit of tweaking and the end result became this.
