Jen's Dress

Earlier this year Jen and I were preparing for the big day in June which consisted of guestlists, location of the hang out and our outfits for the two day celebrations. This particular moment Jen and I were having her demo a fit at a tailor in Glastonbury, CT. Jen wanted me to document the dress for her so that her best friend could figure out what it would look like with the makeup.

And during this small shoot I sort of realized that the energy in the air was both nervous and exciting considering this would be our one time we would have everyone celebrate us and such. In ways I'm awkward and don't need a lot of attention from people, but in this instance I would need to understand that our folks come to see me and Jen and celebrate us for the two day festivities.

Aside from that photographing this moment was a realization that yeah... her and I are really here to the end. And I don't necessarily feel alone anymore.
