Street Modelin'

About a couple of weeks ago I took a trip with my girlfriend and friends to LA. We went to a few places before we headed out to the cemetery to watch a film (weird I know.. but check out the Cenespia website for more details). While waiting in line I captured a couple of images of the LA folk. This image was one of the few that I felt represent LA style.







Few days before the trip I headed out to the city for school and took a couple of images before and after class. It's crazy how overcasted it's been the last few weeks. On these images I decided to process them differently. It sort of resembles the film look to me and I think I'll be using this technique for future images to come.

Billy and Marie Wedding

I was a second shooter for Kaboo Vang's "Billy and Marie" wedding a couple of weeks ago. This event was different since certain limitations were made. For one I couldn't use flash while the ceremony was being held and I couldn't photograph people drinking alcohol during the reception. It was somewhat odd to me, but that's what the bride wanted. Other things include the bride arriving late, groomsmen not showing up, and the ceremony starting an hour after scheduled time. It was chaotic for the both of us.






Overall, the photographs came out great. Above are some captures taken before and after the ceremony.
